An Asset Management Relationship
An asset management relationship with an investment advisor representative is unique in that the advisor has a fiduciary duty to act in the best interests of their clients at all times. A fee is negotiated in advance and based on the total amount of assets under management. For example, a fee of 1% annually on your total assets invested may be agreed upon between you and World Trend.

A Traditional Brokerage Relationship
A traditional brokerage relationship with a registered representative assures a client that a thorough suitability analysis will be conducted, taking into account an investor’s risk tolerance, time horizon, and objectives before any recommendations are made. For this relationship, commissions are paid on any purchases or sales of securities in accounts set up with World Trend. For example, the cost to purchase a mutual fund might be an up-front sales charge of 4% on your investment.

A Consulting Relationship
A consulting relationship is for those who are not necessarily looking for an ongoing relationship with World Trend. An individual might simply want advice on a specific financial problem or an overall assessment of their existing portfolio. In this case, the client agrees to pay an hourly rate (or a flat fee) for the time spent researching their particular issue. For example, a client might pay an hourly rate for three hours of work for the evaluation of their existing annuity from another firm. Many such clients are looking for a second opinion on their holdings. Many of these individuals eventually become World Trend clients.
